IDENTIGENE was the first private laboratory to perform DNA identification exclusively using Short Tandem Repeat (STR) systems. Since 1993, we have produced millions of STR genotypes for paternity and forensic analyses without error. No other lab has more experience with STRs than IDENTIGENE, and courts accept our test results across the U.S. and abroad. Our experienced DNA professionals have testified in criminal cases in courtrooms across the country.

Speed

At IDENTIGENE, we have years of experience as a high-volume production DNA identification laboratory. Consequently, our testing processes for forensic cases are streamlined, substantially automated, and fast. Our average turnaround time for forensic cases is 3-4 weeks, depending on the type and volume of samples. We also offer RUSH service when a case must be finished in a tight deadline. Accuracy

CODIS is the nationally recognized standard for DNA testing. However, highly degraded samples may fail to type on all CODIS loci. IDENTIGENE can double the power of CODIS by supplementing tests with Identiplex™, our patented, proven multiplex containing additional STR systems. Identiplex alone has a typical match probability of one in billions. There are no more accurate results available today.
